Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about our plumbing and drain work in Butler and Warren Counties.
Services
Why does my drain keep clogging?
Repeat clogs usually come from grease and grime building up inside the pipe, or from roots growing into it. Snaking clears the blockage but can leave buildup behind. We offer hydro jetting, which uses pressurized water to scrub the inside of the pipe, and we handle drain cleaning and root removal.
Do you handle sewer line problems and backups?
Yes. We do drain and sewer cleaning, trenchless sewer lining and sewer line repair. If you have a backup, call us and tell us what you are seeing so we can figure out the next step.
What should I do if a pipe bursts or I have a major leak?
Shut off the main water valve right away to stop the flow, then call us. We take emergency calls 24 hours a day. We also handle leak and pipe repair, including frozen water lines.
How do I know if my water heater needs repair or replacement?
Signs of trouble include no hot water, water that never gets hot enough, leaks around the tank and strange noises. We repair and replace water heaters, and we can look at yours and tell you which makes more sense. See our water heater service.
Why does my sump pump run constantly, or not at all?
A pump that runs nonstop may have a stuck float switch or a high water table. One that never runs may have lost power or failed. Either can lead to a flooded basement, so call us and we will look at the sump pump.
What is RootX?
RootX is a root-killing product we offer for pipes. It foams on contact with water to reach the top of the pipe, where most roots grow, and the dead roots then decay over time. It is guaranteed to keep pipes root-free.
